
Lorrine Coleman-Ross, 47, is a proud native of Southeast Washington, DC, with a passion for fashion and runway modeling. She began participating in modeling troops, hair and fashion shows, and pageants at the age of 14.


In 2016, Lorrine made her debut in the full-figured pageant scene by competing in the “Ms. Full-Figured USA” Pageant, where she was crowned Ms. Full-Figured USA Swimwear 2016. Her magnetic personality, infectious smile, and confidence left a lasting impression on the industry.
Just one year later, she was appointed as the Director of the “Ms. Full-Figured DMV” Pageant, a division of “Ms. Full-Figured USA” Pageant Brand.

She proudly served in this role for seven years, dedicating herself to the women who chose to embark on their pageant journey under her leadership. Throughout her tenure, she was deeply invested in their growth, confidence, and personal transformation, ensuring that each contestant felt valued, supported, and celebrated. Her devotion to mentorship and commitment to fostering a community of strength and self-love made a lasting impact on everyone involved.

Lorrine has also been recognized for her advocacy for “Self Love” by The Diva Movement Association in March 2018. Her inspiring story was featured in the July 2018 issue of Just Right Magazine, and she received the Curvy Community Champion Award in November 2018 at the Netwerq Your Curves Off seminar.

Lorrine’s dedication to uplifting, supporting, and promoting body positivity within the plus-size community has garnered significant recognition. She was featured as the Entrepreneur Spotlight in Queen Size Magazine in February 2019. In June 2024, she returned to the magazine as the Cover Girl, accompanied by a feature story.

During the 2022 National Curves Day Honors, Lorrine received the PJ’s Humanitarian Award for her outstanding contributions to the community. Most recently, at the 2024 Ms. Full-Figured D.M.V. Legacy Gala, which celebrated seven years of pageant excellence and marked the conclusion of the division, Lorrine was honored as the first inductee into the Plus Hall of Fame by National Curves Day Inc.

Lorrine is also the proud owner of The Lorrine Ross Experience LLC., which was established in 2018. As a production company focused on full-figured pageantry, Lorrine’s business reflects her passion and commitment to empowering women of all shapes and sizes.

Lorrine works as an Inventory Service Manager at DARCARS Toyota. When she is not at work, she actively takes part in her local community in the DMV areas and the thriving Plus community. Despite working in a male-dominated environment, she has made remarkable progress in the automotive industry and has received the Excellent Service Award three times. The March 2014 issue of Automotive News Magazine featured an article titled “Women Successful in the Service Lane,” in which Lorrine was highlighted. She has an Associate’s Degree from Aberdeen Community College and is a graduate of Free State Military Academy.

Lorrine values family and spends her free time with her husband Eric, of 22 years, and their four children. Her daughters DaShawn(32), Ayanna(27), Chalice(25), and son Shiheem (22) are all thriving adults, and Lorrine looks forward to watching them continue to succeed. Lorrine is an empowering force for the women around her, exuding confidence and class at all times. She is a self-described D.I.V.A. and lives by her quote “Be your own champion you don’t need confirmation from anyone to tell you, you are a WINNER!
