In a world where leadership is often defined by titles and power, the most transformative leaders are those who understand that true influence begins by listening, uplifting others, and moving forward with clarity and purpose. To amplify voices is to make space for those who are often unheard. To lead with vision and purpose is to move with intention, guided by values that reflect both courage and compassion.
Amplifying voices means listening actively, sharing platforms, and recognizing that leadership is stronger when it’s inclusive. It’s about moving from representation to participation—from checking boxes to creating cultures where diversity is celebrated, not tolerated. When we lift others up, we don’t lose power—we multiply it. Look at the story of the Phoenix.
Everyone always glorifies the the story of the Phoenix rising from the ashes but few ever focus on the fact that the Phoenix had to lose its life, be burned to ashes in order to rise. The Phoenix felt the pain of the fire searing its body. The Phoenix felt the heat of the fire and the crushing suffocating smoke filling its lungs. It felt the pain of its very life essence being burned way. That was part of its story. This is the part that gives the Phoenix its voice.
Leading with vision means seeing beyond the moment and setting a course for something greater. There are some things that we have to let go of and let burn to the ground. Sometimes we don’t realize that fire is a purifier and ashes are are a fertilizer for your next. Nothing can grow from death and decay. I encourage you today if there are things you are holding on to that are not serving your God ordained purpose, let it burn to the ground. It’s about defining a clear direction grounded in values such as justice, empathy, and integrity. But vision alone is not enough. It must be paired with purpose—the “why” that fuels resilience in difficult times and drives meaningful change.
What God wants to establish in you far outweighs anything you have lost. Trust the process of becoming. Becoming all you were meant to be. Yes you will loose somethings, some people but nothing you ever loose in pursuit of your God ordained purpose is in vain. Let this be your Phoenix moment. The moment you decide to rise from the ashes of despair. The ashes of chasing things and desires that were never meant for you. Don’t be afraid to start again. Your destiny is waiting on you.
