Name: Kenyetta R. Cheatum

Hobbies/Pastime: Love to write, sing, mentor, community service

Business/Talent? I am the CEO of Big Sistas w/ Purpose LLC, Director of Sistas 2 Sistas Pageantry LLC, Tax Preparer of Price Tax Services, Insurance Agent, Licensed EMT, published model, published author X3, and pageant queen

Where are you from? Northport, Alabama

What are you passionate about? What’s the driving force behind it?
I am passionate about giving back and community service. I love helping other families by making a difference whether it is supplying kids with school supplies, cooking meals or donating goods and service. My driving force behind all this is having two amazing women my mother and my grandma in my life. As I was growing up, I watched my granny raise myself and all little cousins all while working for other
people to make money. My mother was always the type that was in the community giving back all while
working. Watching them help serve in the community all while taking care of their family help shape me
to the woman I am today.

What would you say to those that are starting out in your field? There is no limit to what you can do. I
am a 45-year woman that never could imagine I would be where I am today. I am a graduate with a master’s degree; I have travelled and been to places that I never thought I would be. All you must do is write your visions and goals down and ask God to guide you through the process. Trusting the process is a must. Never left anyone deter you from your goals and dreams.

Fun Fact about you? I am a published author three times and one of my books has even hit Amazon’s Top 100 Best Sellers list. I have been recognized by city of Tuscaloosa mayor and Alabama state governor.

What is your favorite quote? Explain? For she is clothed with dignity, and she laughs without fear of her future. I remember always wanting what was best for me, but I had to start with me because nobody else would do. Trusting the process and walking in the divine purpose is a must. You can always want something but as the saying says faith without work is dead.

If you could leave a lasting legacy, what would that look like? If I could leave a lasting legacy is would be
a center for leadership and mentorship. I sit and look within our communities today and see how our
youth are not trained in financial literacy, job readiness and goal setting. I feel like leaving something
that they can have to fall back on and turn to will help guide their future goals.
