When you meet Dr. Niesha Mack Massingill, you don’t just meet a woman, you meet a movement. She is grace wrapped in strength, brilliance fused with boldness, and purpose walking in heels. Now, as the new Luminary of SitiGirl Miami, she is ready to guide this publication into its most inspiring chapter yet.
Dr. Mack Massingill is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and Nova Southeastern University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and was awarded a Doctorate of Divinity (h.c.) from Trinity Theological Seminary. Her academic and spiritual journey reflects a lifelong commitment to growth, leadership, and lifting others as she climbs.
With more than two decades of experience in education, ministry, and community advocacy, she is widely recognized for her ability to inspire and lead with both compassion and conviction. Her career has focused on helping children, families, and underserved communities access the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Whether she is speaking on stage, mentoring young women, or developing strategies that drive change, her impact is felt far and wide.
Dr. Mack Massingill is also an ordained pastor who has been preaching and teaching since 1995. Her messages are heartfelt, faith-filled, and rooted in life experience. She believes deeply in purpose and leads with the belief that every challenge we face can be transformed into a testimony.
A nationally recognized queen in the world of pageantry, she currently holds the title of Elegant Ms. USA International Eminence Plus 2025. Her social impact platform, “There’s Purpose in Your Pain: Living Life After Loss,” was born out of personal heartbreak, having experienced the loss of her first husband, father, and pageant daughter within a short span of time. Instead of being defined by grief, she chose to walk in healing and hope, using her story to uplift others who are navigating loss of all kinds.
She has since become a powerful advocate for grief awareness and emotional wellness, speaking across the country and creating safe spaces for healing through workshops, mentorship, and storytelling.
Outside of the spotlight, Dr. Mack Massingill is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband share a beautifully blended family that includes nine daughters (two biological and seven bonus blessings) and ten grandchildren. Her legacy is rooted in love, faith, and a fierce commitment to family.
Now, as the Luminary of SitiGirl Miami, she brings every piece of her journey, the educator, the spiritual leader, the queen, the mother, the survivor, into her vision for the magazine. Her goal is to celebrate stories that matter, highlight women who are breaking boundaries, and inspire every reader to believe that they too were born to shine.
“Being a Luminary isn’t about being seen,” she says. “It’s about making sure others know they were never meant to dim their light.”
