Katrina Andrews, a 53 yr old lead caregiver/cna at a nursing facility because taking care people has always been her passion.
Being a advocate for heart health is important to her because she has Congestive Heart Failure and Heart Disease since 2012. Her first heart surgery was in 2016 and just a year ago in 2025 she had a mild heart attack and it was scary. Katrina’s story involves taking medication all the time, while seeing all kinds of doctors and specialist who gave her all kinds of heart devices. Now she is unable to do certain activities because her heart races constantly; It definitely takes a lot out of you. This is the reason why she wants to show awareness by spreading knowledge to everyone about cardiovascular and the importance in getting your heart checked out because Heart Disease is the #1 KILLER of all diseases.
Katrina would suggest to others that are going through their silent journey to get help by going to Heart support groups, watch your salt intake, exercise to improve your heart, call the Heart Health Line, continue to talk to your doctors and specialist’s “please…..please go to and follow up on all appointments and never stop praying!”

I would be a Black Panther. Because I am STRONG, FEARLESS, AND LOVE PROTECTING PEOPLE

Have an identical twin sister, I love to PARTY, TRAVEL, MODEL and binge watch LAW’N’ ORDER: SVU. while eating popcorn or hot cheetos.
If you could leave a lasting impression, what would it be and why?
My lasting impression would be A smile and a hug because I love to smile all the time and give hugs you never know what everyday people are going through and you might just be helping someone with this kind gesture. It only takes a second to give someone a smile or a hug.
