Where are you from? Where do you live?
I am from Washington, DC and I reside in Huntsville, AL.
What are you passionate about? Whats the driving force behind it?
I am very passionate about my family and loved ones. Family means everything to me. The driving force behind it is, I didn’t come from a very large family, but I have always wanted one. So, I had to create, accept, and bond family members along my life’s journey. All of my family members are not blood or marital relatives; they are bonded ones too.
What’s your skill set?
My skillset is that of an administrator, leader, mentor, and advisor. I am also in school obtaining my bachelor’s degree in psychology.
What sets you apart from others of your same field?
The things that set me apart from others that may do things similar to me are that I am very analytical. I like to get into the nitty gritty of it all I am very determined and driven when it comes to things that I want to do. I can endure a whole of things that the average person would not be able to handle. I am also very strategic when planning or doing things. Also, I am a very progressive thinker. A
lot of people may only think about today and maybe tomorrow, but I am always thinking ahead, wondering about next week and the next two years from now.
What’s your purpose in life?
My God ordained purpose in life is very simple. I am here to love and be loved, be a blessing and to be blessed, to help and to serve, to set good examples for others to follow, and to live the abundant, peaceful life that the Good Lord promised.
If you could choose any career in the world, would you still choose the career or talent you have?
Yes, I would choose the career and talent that I have. I love what I do!!! I also plan to be a art and dance therapist to work with the youth.
What would you tell your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to love God, keep your head up, reach for the stars, let nothing hinder or stop you from achieving your goals, and live your life with no regrets.

Knowing what you know now, would you change anything in your past?
I wanted to yes, but the truth is, everything that I have gone through has prepared, shaped, and made me the woman that I am today.
Who are your role models?
My role models are my spiritual mom Mother Elaine Taylor, my model/pageant sister Gwen Kelly is also a mentor and inspiration to me. She is “My Diva G”. Dr. Angie Rivers Harper is another person who inspires me. My CEO of Royal Productions Pageants, Natasha Monique Sutton and My COO of Royal Productions Pageants, Danielle Yancey They are both unique in their own way, but
they are creative and great leaders, and I admire them both so much.
What would you say to those that are starting out in your field?
I would tell them to invest in yourself, study, practice, and perfect your craft. Stay humble but be confident in yourself. Know who you are and know your own worth. Don’t let anyone talk you out of your dreams and goals. Even when things
get challenging, you may have to slow down, but don’t lose hope and don’t give up!!! Always do your best.
What is your favorite quote? Explain?
You don’t have to be perfect but, always have a spirit of excellence, and a mindset to do what is right. It is pretty self-explanatory. Nobody is perfect and we all are apt make some mistakes. But we can always have the desire in our hearts and be determined to put forth an effort to do things the right way.
What or who has inspired your gift/vision?
A few people that have inspired me are my artistic director Monique Ryan of Dance Theatre of Huntsville. She has taught me a lot about the performing arts, dance in particular, and the business behind the scenes. My model and runway coach Dionne Grubbs, my model mentor and model boss Scheronda Thompson and model/stylist Sharonda Grandberry have all inspired me to step out of my
comfort zone, pursue, and fulfill my dreams and aspirations.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it is the time when my family is at home, and we cook a robust meal of everybody’s favorites. We also sit around chat and watch football. Plus, I love me some turkey.

Do you have any regrets? If so, what are they and what would you do to rectify
those thoughts?
Yes, I regret the fact that I stayed in a severely abusive relationship that has caused me mental anguish, external/internal damage, and that my children had to be exposed to it for seven years. I regret the fact that I allowed myself to cower down and was so afraid of one human being for so long. What I have done to rectify those thoughts was go to counseling, heal mentally, and physically. Also, I
have built my confidence back and I have vowed to never let another human being on earth instill that type of fear in me ever again!!! I am now an advocate and defender for others who are or who have gone through the same thing or
something similar.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Out of all of the things that I have accomplished, my biggest accomplishment would be, being a mother and a wife. Hence, I don’t need or prefer a title I am simplistically Mrs. BJ or Mama BJ.
Whats a fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I’m a serious pet lover. I once had 7 pets at one time. I had 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a Guinea pig. I trained them all too. Yes, even the guinea pig. Now, I have 3 dogs and 8 fish.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
If I could be any animal, I would be an elephant. Why an elephant you ask? An elephant is large and in charge, they have a very sharp memory (they never forget), they live for a long time, they work together to protect their young, they are very smart, and they are very gentle but can be dangerous when angered.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In five years, I will officially be retired. I will be living in my dream-retirement home and driving in my dream-retirement vehicle. I will still be serving and volunteering, and of course I still be a Royal Productions Pageant Queen. In ten years, I will be doing some traveling and spending more time with my family. I will also spend time at home just chilling and having fun.
If you could leave a lasting legacy, what would that look like?
If I were to leave a lasting legacy it would be a blueprint for loving people unconditionally. It would be a legacy of faith, family, and fun. It would be one of servitude, generosity, and hospitality. The legacy would also include a blueprint for being a humble, confident, disciplined, steadfast, and classy lady.
