Each year, Siti Girl Honors shines a spotlight on extraordinary women who are leading, serving, creating, and transforming their communities. As your Las Vegas Luminary, my role is to identify, celebrate, and uplift the powerful women throughout our city — women whose stories deserve to be recognized and whose impact deserves to be honored.
From rising entrepreneurs to community leaders, creatives, and everyday women doing extraordinary things — this is your space to be seen, celebrated, and empowered.
A Chicago Heart With Las Vegas Roots
Although I am a proud Chicago native, I had the pleasure of living in Las Vegas for eight years.
During that time, the incredible women of this city left an imprint on my heart — their resilience, brilliance, and sisterhood continue to inspire me.
Las Vegas is more than just a chapter in my story; it’s still very much a part of my life, as I have children who reside there.
For me, this role is both a homecoming and a chance to honor the dynamic women who embody strength, purpose, and vision.
Who Am I?
I am LaSonya Alexander, widely known as The Comeback Queen.
My journey has been shaped by resilience, transformation, and unshakable faith.
As a single mother of seven and grandmother of thirteen, I’ve walked through seasons of struggle, survival, and triumph — overcoming homelessness, domestic violence, and countless obstacles while building organizations that provide hope and opportunity for others.
Through my nonprofit MomsCanDoIt2 Inc., I’ve empowered single mothers through job readiness, confidence-boosting makeovers, and moments of celebration that remind them they are never alone.
I am also developing DadsCanDoIt2, in honor of my son, to support fathers navigating unjust systems.
Most recently, I launched KidsCanDoIt2, advocating for children so their voices and needs are always seen and heard.

My modeling journey has taken me across major runways including:

- London African Fashion Week
- New York Fashion Week
- Emirates Fashion Week
Those experiences deepened my love for artistry, representation, and storytelling.
That same creative passion inspired Godway Entertainment Inc., a family-based entertainment company I proudly built with my seven children.
Each of them is a gifted creator, and together we are building generational legacy through music, media, branding, and entertainment.
Godway Entertainment is more than a company — it is a living testament to unity, creativity, and purpose.
My Mission
My heart’s mission is to use every platform I touch to uplift others, create opportunities, and amplify stories that too often go unheard.
As the Las Vegas Luminary for Siti Girl Honors, I’m committed to elevating women whose work, service, achievements, and personal journeys deserve recognition.
